Nadara is a low-tech food preservation system that combines tradition and innovation to address today’s environmental challenges. Made of nested clay pots separated by a thin layer of moist sand, it uses natural evaporative cooling to maintain a stable temperature of around 8 °C ideal for keeping fruits and vegetables fresh while preserving their nutrients, texture, and flavor.
Beyond functionality, Nadara encourages a more sustainable lifestyle: every gesture becomes part of a ritual where simplicity, efficiency, and respect for resources meet.
In collaboration with Brussels-based ceramist Thomas Tardivo, we produced 20 unique pieces.
