Made for Sessun craft prize 2025, this scenography project stands at the crossroads of gallery and boutique, creating a space that both narrates and showcases. Indigo, the central hue, resonates with the warmth of terracotta in a mineral, vibrant harmony.
At the heart of the space, modular terracotta totems, sculpted as shelves, play with solids and voids one of them mounted on a rotating axis. Metallic racks undulate like a distant sea, anchored on stone bases coated with slip. Suspended pieces, airy and highlighted, invite a calm exploration. In the background, a jute curtain dyed with indigo using the shibori technique subtly unfolds Sessùn’s identity.
